News about fundraising efforts. Nina Stout (mother of Dawson) has tentatively scheduled Sat. Feb 28 for a dinner at the Danbury Unitarian Universalist church. I spoke to Suzanne Sheridan and she said she is interested in talking about possibly singing and playing. She would sell CDs there. We are looking for a chef and asked if Daniel Lanzilotta is available Amie Hall and I will help Nina. Expenses of course are reimbursed out of the income. Once we get the MODEL down for planning these events, we can replicate. I am planning to ask for a date for a dinner at the Unitarian Church in Westport. And maybe Stamford and other UU churches, or other denominations and faiths, may be interested in joining us in our fundraising efforts too.

I will do a personal dinner as well in the new year. Maybe plan it sometime around my 60th birthday (March 2) - ask my friends - in lieu of gifts please donate to healthy foods for kids. Amie G. Hall said she knows of a couple of free places to have a party - would love to have dancing.

Pam Kraussman (at our 1st meeting at Amie Hall's) has been in touch w Amy K about the property at Friends and possibly using it to train teachers. They are exploring options.

We are in communication to unify efforts with Nicole Straight and the Westport/ Fairfield mothers who showed Amy's film in October. I learned from Monique Bosch, an environmental activist, of another group in Westport who wants Westport to be a "green model" - they would like to show Amy's film too.

Spoke to nutritionist Carolyn Gundell in Wilton, who works at Advanced Pediatrics in Norwalk, who is going to review Amy's film, Two Angry Moms, and wants to help schedule a screening in the evenings in Wilton for parents who work - she has a list of 100 - so that will spread the word. Her husband, Andy Gundell, is in a band with Suzanne Sheridan and has also expressed interest in providing music and helping us raise money as well.
